I have brides ask me all of the time,“What should I do to get in shape for my wedding?”
Before I knew about barre workouts, I gave advice that went like this: Participate in 45 minutes to 1 hour of cardio, 4 days a week, and lift weights for 45 minutes to 1 hour, 2 additional days per week. Sweat at least 6 days per week.
Now that I know about highly effective barre workouts, my advice remains largely unchanged, with one exception; make a barre workout part of your weekly routine. 2 to 3 would be optimal. Barre workouts sculpt your legs and arms in a way I have not seen paralleled, and they burn 400 to 600 calories in an hour long workout. Support your efforts with healthy eating, and you’ll be rid of that armpit cleavage in no time!
